Rideshare drop-off and pickup is Lot O, on the south/outer ring of the complex, a short walk from the gates. With ~16,000 of Arrowhead’s parking spots removed for the World Cup, rideshare is one of the few flexible options — expect 3–5× surge and book post-match pickups ahead.
The new ConnectKC26 “Stadium Direct” shuttle ($15 round-trip, pass required) runs every ~20 minutes from the downtown FIFA Fan Festival and four park-and-rides, starting 3 hours before kickoff. From MCI, the free ConnectKC26 “Airport Direct” shuttle reaches the downtown Bus Mall, where you connect to Stadium Direct.
I-70, I-435 and I-35 all see heavy match-day volume, and the Blue Ridge Cutoff between I-70 and Raytown Road closes in stages around kickoff. With Arrowhead’s parking cut to ~3,000–4,000 spots, neighborhood spillover is worse than a Chiefs game.
