Where to get picked up

Standard pickup/drop-off is on Occidental Avenue South beside the stadium, but a Pioneer Square pedestrian-only zone closes those streets ~4 hours before kickoff, so drivers route to the perimeter and you walk the last few blocks. Heading 4–6 blocks north before requesting a ride normalizes the price fast.

Transit alternative

Sound Transit’s Link 1 Line runs from SeaTac/Airport Station directly to Stadium Station — a 1-minute walk from the gates — in ~35–40 minutes for a flat $3, no transfer. Trains run every ~8 minutes on match days, with service until 1am; tap a contactless card or use ORCA.

Match-day traffic

I-5 through downtown and the 1st Avenue South access roads back up 60–90 minutes after a match, and the I-90 junction south of the stadium clogs for Eastside drivers. On-street parking in SoDo/Pioneer Square is banned from 2am on match mornings — the city actively discourages driving.
